ERASMUS+  IT AND LANGUAGE TEACHING  A.S. 2018/2019 e 2019/2020

The project IT AND LANGUAGE TEACHING focuses on using information technologies (IT) as a practical tool in language learning.

The main objective is to exchange and transfer good practices designing specific activities using IT tools, and to raise their acceptance, applicability and openness in all the classrooms. The EU countries participating in the project are: Finland (coordinator of the project), Germany, Bulgaria and Italy.

The project will encourage the use of all languages taught at the participating schools and the pupils will have the chance to switch from language to another language, when needed.

It will certainly improve the language competences of pupils, because project work creates real speaking/writing situations and information exchange in a foreign language.

A PROJECT WEBSITE to host and manage the information and activities will be created.

Communication between partners and exchange of material and results will be done via skype, e-mail and the eTwinning platform. Students will work in a collaborative way to produce a total of FIVE CREATIVE WRITING AND FIVE VIDEO CHAIN STORIES (a selected group of students first initiates a story at one school, they will then send their version to another school group, which will further develop the idea. This process is then subsequently followed until all school teams have collaborated and contributed to a final written/video chain story).

A PROJECT BLOG will be created to allow inter-school communication. This will open a (responsible, supervised) way to share personal work and ideas and other activities such as: personal video interviews, quizzes, competitions, and additional surveys to monitor changes in student and teacher attitudes and experiences throughout the project.
